I recently stripped, mended, sanded and painted an antique four panelled, part glazed front door. Unfortunately, the new paint didn’t go on very well, so I decided to start again. I asked George if he would strip the front of the door back to the bare wood to save me doing it again. The door needed to be stripped by hand in order to preserve the detailed moulding around the panels. George arrived on time to collect the door and his courier returned it to me exactly on time. George telephoned me after the door was delivered and we discussed the work he had done. I believe that he did his best for my door and he was keen to ensure that I was happy with the result. Moreover, George offered to take the door back if there was anything that I wasn’t pleased with. I’ve dealt with a lot of tradesmen over the years and I can honestly say that George was definitely was one of the best – excellent customer service.
