We had a really nice garden table stripped, it was covered in a white plastic based coating but we thought due to the weight it was a nice hardwood underneath.
George and the team picked it up stripped it and dropped it back for a very reasonable price.The wood underneath is really nice and once sanded will look great. Great communication and good value for money.

After being let down by another striping company. I searched the internet and came across premium door stripping company. I am so glad that I did.

I had a couple of doors with about 80 years of paint on them, at least 15 layers.

I was trying to get the paint off the frame and it had taken me 2.5 litres of paint stripper.
I sent the doors off to George and his team and WOW ! The doors came back as good as new !

The communication with George was first rate. He phoned me to confirm the collection of the doors with a time slot. ( which was spot on ! )

The delivery was excellent.
George rang again and gave me a time for the delivery ( again spot on)

After reading about this company, I nervously asked them to collect and strip two quite humble 18th century cottage doors and a chair from the 1940’s. The results are beyond what I thought possible, especially the doors! I am quite bowled over both by a warm and friendly George at the end of the phone as well as the price. We live in a 200 year old Pub and I believe the doors are the original ones in the living accommodation. We’re just finishing a major renovation project and decided to have the doors stripped as the paint had built up over many years. We were worried that they wouldn’t be any good afterwards given the age. We were shocked to see them be returned to us in fantastic condition.
We would highly recommend this process especially if you have odd shaped door frames as you couldn’t buy these doors off the shelf!

Our solid teak garden furniture was looking crusty & tired due to 8 yrs of neglect & outdoor grime! I found Premium Door Stripping by chance on Yell, read their customer reviews and phoned for a quote. George then visited our house and took away half the furniture as a test. He sent us updates by photo once the cleaning process was finished and then a photo of the first chair being oiled to make sure that the colour was as we wanted. The first batch of chairs and table were completed in the allotted time and returned to us looking amazing. The next batch then went away and returned to us even quicker, also to the same fantastic quality.. What a great service these guys offer. The fees charged are also reasonable bearing in mind the work undertaken – each chair, bench and table, was stripped, then hand sanded, finally given 5 coats of oil.. Would definitely recommend to one and all – what a find! Many thanks. What a shame I can’t share some before and after photos to prove the point.!!

I recently stripped, mended, sanded and painted an antique four panelled, part glazed front door. Unfortunately, the new paint didn’t go on very well, so I decided to start again. I asked George if he would strip the front of the door back to the bare wood to save me doing it again. The door needed to be stripped by hand in order to preserve the detailed moulding around the panels. George arrived on time to collect the door and his courier returned it to me exactly on time. George telephoned me after the door was delivered and we discussed the work he had done. I believe that he did his best for my door and he was keen to ensure that I was happy with the result. Moreover, George offered to take the door back if there was anything that I wasn’t pleased with. I’ve dealt with a lot of tradesmen over the years and I can honestly say that George was definitely was one of the best – excellent customer service.

I stumbled across Premiumdoorstripping online. They were quick and reliable, prompt getting back with prices, delivered on time doing a fanatic job. Highly recommended and very trustworthy.
