Our door stripping themed Christmas song based on The Twelve Days of Christmas
With Christmas looming, the last thing our fellows would like to think of for a week or two is door stripping. On the other hand, it is fair to say that our industry could do with some Christmas cheer. So on behalf of Santa Goran and his team, we would like to share this adaptation of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Complete with lyrics that best suit our industry.
You might wish to sing along or do the full jumping up and down business whilst it’s your turn. (Though this works best if you have twelve people or twelve tables).
The Twelve Days of Door Stripping
On the first day of Christmas, our Goran stripped for me:

On the tenth day of Christmas, our Goran stripped for me:
Ten chairs a shining;
Nine shutters sparkling;
Eight sheds in Hastings;

Five door frames;

Three bedsteads;
Two louvre doors; and,

On the eleventh day of Christmas, our Goran stripped for me:
Eleven cupboards bulging;
Ten chairs a shining;
Nine shutters sparkling;
Eight sheds in Hastings;
Seven steps in Steyning;
Six stools in Worthing;
Five door frames;
Four rocking chairs;
Three bedsteads;
Two louvre doors; and,
A fireplace in Dorking, Surrey.
On the twelfth day of Christmas, our Goran stripped for me:
Twelve tables gleaning;
Eleven cupboards bulging;
Ten chairs a shining;
Nine shutters sparkling;
